Interesting stuff. With regard to the Walker round ball data, their charge of 50 gr 3F Pyrodex gave 1040 fps. My results with 50 gr Goex 3F and a .457" round ball from the Walker was 1075 fps, so pretty close.

That and we don’t have a clue how his measure measures. 46 grns for him might be 39 in mine and 41 in yours. I’ve weighed my 3F Olde Eynsford charges. Set at 30 grns for my NMA it weighed roughly 33, and set at 35 for my ROA weighed about 38. But then not all black powders weigh the same.

I don’t recall which of the two bullets he created were used that day, but I’m almost certain it was the 110. Here they are:

I’d go with an 80% meplat though.
