My meager start

I am embarrassed to post the only 2 I have at the moment, but ya gotta start somewhere. The Colt I got in April this year and the Remmy mysteriously arrived around Labor Day, ( I suspect it was the Colt's doings as it seems possesed by the Cabela's curse) I am even more embarrased to say that I consider them both virgins, the Remmy has never tasted powder yet while the Colt has had 40-50 rounds using Pyrodex P (which didn't fill me with the inspiration I remember from back in my teen years) and I tried a few rounds with the Cult of 2F 777. ( not impressed but that was due to my ignorance, 1 Thou shalt not over compress, or 2 Thou shalt not have a heavy hand on thy loading lever) I did get a strange e-mail saying I was to expect, and greet, the arrival of the big brown stagecoach on the 9th of Nov. bearing the emissaries of the Holy Black from the church of Powder Inc. (again I suspect the Colt, the curse has mutated) Communion to be served on Thanksgiving by the Denominations of Goex, Kik and Swiss, with a reception later that evening at the Ye ole washtub..BYOB (Bring your own Brush) lol

Had to sell a few of mine over the years, including a fully-engraved nickle and 24kt gold ASM 1858, a 1858 with a 12" bbl, and a really smooth 1873 SAA look-alike that was cap n ball. Here's what I still have and truly love. I started owning firearms with nothin but cap n balls for several years, and I still LOVE to shoot them!
