I have a handful of Ruger Blackhawk revolvers in various calibers. I bought a couple of them new, but most were used when I bought them. A couple of the used revolvers have obviously had some work done to improve the trigger, resulting in an excellent, crisp release.
Some of the others have a fair bit of creep, especially one of the newer-made ones.
So what are the options to improve the trigger pull, especially as it relates to trigger creep? I know the trick to unhook one leg of the trigger return spring from its peg. Beyond that, what spring replacement kits are recommended? And in the case of trigger creep, what's the best approach?
