Blackhorn 209 Breakthrough!

Frontier Gander has been successful at igniting Blackhorn 209 in a CVA sidelock rifle by using a 5 grain booster charge of Shockey's Gold.
And if Blackhorn 209 can be used in a caplock rifle, then it should also work in C&B revolvers.
What's unknown is what kind of velocity it would develop in a short revolver barrel since it's a progressive burning powder, and performance often requires that the projectile provide a good seal.

There was also an extensive thread about it that includes the documented approval by the Blackhorn 209 manufacturer for using a booster charge in a sidelock without causing an increase in pressure:
