Dont think that Ol' Hot Rod can depend on the downstate union vote too much.

You should here the union prison workers in Pontiac crying when they heard they all may be out of jobs.

They all put their weight behind the guy and look where it gets them, I bet the guy I was talking to that they wont vote for him again.

You can guess his answer, party and union loyalty dont mean squat when you are out of a job.

Closing the prison in Pontiac would destroy the whole Livingston county area, alot of area businesses are dependent on that prison.

OK, just to stir the pot a bit...

For the '08 presidential campaign, how about Hot Rod Roddy & Hitlery Klintoon? ? ?

Poshard was also that good. It was shameful what happened to him.

I have no doubt that Blagojevich is positioning himself to be a possible candidate for President. But he's kidding himself. It'll never happen.

Obama is absolutely on track to be President someday. I won't predict that he will be, but it wouldn't surprise me. I don't think you can blame his popularity entirely on hype. I do not believe he's going to do anything dumb like running in '08 unless there are big, unexpected changes that put him in a better position, though. I fully expect him to make the most of being a Senator for awhile. Hilary Clinton entered the Senate unable to count on anything but absolute love or hate. She's coming out at least partially rehabilitated. Obama didn't go in with the kind of liabilities she did, so if he plays his cards right, he can come out much stronger.
