Blank grenade COOL!!

Hi guys!

I a posting here because I was surfing the net and I found this little "blank firing grenade" that I thought would be a nice addition to any of our EDC's, as a distractionary device (that is, a very scaled down version, something like an OC canister size)

http://www.zerooneairsoft.com , try the search and look for dynatek blank firing hand grenade. It uses a 9mm or 12ga blank for noise. I would love to own one, but a "homemade" version might be more my taste..I have been experimenting with flashbangs but all used some sort of pyro device...this would be a pretty good addition, given that it does not depend on a firecracker!

Do any of you guys have an idea of how does this thing work? any hints would be useful to design one!

I see absolutely no practical use for that thing other than grenade training. How are you envisioning it being used as a distractionary device?

I was thinking about using it as a flashbang (I suppose a 12 ga blank is really loud inside a room, isn´t it?) when clearing your home (deafening the attacker). The scenario I was thinking about was you hearing a noise in the middle of the night and while you were clearing the place you found an intruder, you could toss it into another room to focus his attention momentarily somewhere . It could buy you a coupole seconds

well, that was my "armchair commando" scenario. Anyway, I think it is a cool gadget.
