Blemished lower from PSA. Does that count? And I couldn't find the blemish.
I got a 3pk of Blems from them and the trigger pins were a PITA to install... Of course I'm Murphy's Law Personified so take that with a grain of salt...Blemished lower from PSA. Does that count? And I couldn't find the blemish.
I'm with @WisBorn. If you're buying a shooter, go for it. A blem is probably an indicator that the gun has soul.
Yes. Blemmed guns are fine, all of the ones I ever bought had cosmetic issues, which really doesn't matter.Anyone ever purchase a factory blem? Found one for $175-200 off and all they will tell me is either discoloration in camo/cerakote or scratched. Its a hunting gun so it gonna get scratched.
I actively look for the blems in just about anything I intend to use
Enjoy your new gun
My LGS has stocked several new COLT revolvers that are factory blemished. If you are going to use the gun spend the savings on ammo.
If your into safe queens then don't buy the blem. Heck you probably won't even know if the gun actually works. I know I'm being bad again ...
Walmart… when they knock a price off a gun, it’s like your 21st birthday. They really knock you out!I picked up a new Remington Wingmaster from Walmart dirt cheap years ago. They had lost the box, papers, and extra choke tubes. Just got the shotgun. It was right at 1/2 the normal price.
When Ithaca first came out with their Mag-10 autoloader I got one at cost to the wholesaler, a big discount. A factory rep had one as a sample that had a very small white spot in the bluing on the underside of the barrel from a spot of something on the metal as it went into the bluing tank. He sold the sample gun to me for a 40% discount. It was unfired.Anyone ever purchase a factory blem?
