Blunderbuss

I build one back in the 70s with a round faced lock a little smaller than Bess (Davis?), a brass tulip barrel, a walnut stock stained nearly black. The barrel was held in place with pins not bands. I believe my triggerguard had an acorn finial and large bow. The butt plate was similar.

The barrel was 12 gauge and if I recall, I loaded bird shot and wads. Patterning? Who cared, it was a blunderbuss not a fowling piece.
