I ordered mine about 2 months ago. They look nice.

Can someone tell me, will this fit an AR10 lower? It looks like there is clearance, but I don't know the exact differences between the AR15/10 receiver.

Thanks.

The takedown and pivot pins are in different locations between the 10 and 15. If it's made for the AR-15, it certainly won't fit the longer AR-10.

I like the new muzzle brake. Looks really cool.

Wonder if anyone if going to get the one pictured without the bi pod, with the foward pistol grip. Talk about a tactical gun. Would be a blast to shoot standing up.

Man oh man, I love shooting 50 BMG rifles, If I didnt live in CA I would jump on this.

Well, looks like Ill have to play with my new Rem700 in 300win, until this day comes for me...

Hope you all HAVE FUN, with your awesome new Toys.

Chris said mine was going out on thursday. Thought it might have come today, but all the brown truck brought was something for the wife. Maybe tommorrow. However Fedex did bring me my Rack grade rockola carbine from the CMP on friday.

If that hole in the bottom of the receiver is indeed a gas vent, would you want to use one of the single-shot (presumably solid-bottomed) lowers? Wouldn't you be better off with a hole there, i.e., a mag well?

Yup, a drilled hole would be a good idea. IIRC, one of the new single-shot lower manufacturers was even possibly willing to pre-drill the hole if he got exact location specs from Bohica.

Does anyone know if Chris has ever been associated with Hesse or Vulcan Arms? I wanted to check since I get a bit paranoid about who designs a firearm especially when it's a .50cal... Some of the tooling on the bolt shows, and alignment of the barrel to foregrip seemed to be off one of the pictures.

I never understood why some people always get so worked up over tooling marks.

I put in an order for one. I better start saving now, actually glad the wait is about three months. This is going to be so freakin awesome.

So is the idea to buy a dedicated lower for this?

Seems like 50bmg would cause a lot of stress to the receiver pin holes.

It's optional.
Not really, most of it is transferred to the receiver extention/buttstock. Chris measured the receiver holes after hundreds of rounds of shooting and elongation was near immeasurable.

Have you ever considered that visible tooling marks are an indicator of the time/effot spent making a product? If the manufacture didn't take the time to remove tooling marks, what else might they not have taken the time to work on?

I asked if Bohica was associated with Hesse or Vulcan Arms because they're widely known for producing inferior, poorly designed products. Besides the quality of their products they're also deceptive and have a habit of changing their name.

It's dead set in the middle of the magwell, per Chris from BOHICA. I plan on making a magweight out of cold roll and drill a hole that starts at 5/8" for about 1/2" deep and then go down to 1/2".

While I do not have one of these uppers yet, it seems to me that you’re not real familiar with the whole machining process (i.e. tooling marks). I've got over 20 years in the manufacturing sector and to get out the tooling marks I think you’re talking about will only add to the cost of the upper and do NOTHING other than that. If you do not want them there I’m sure Chris would be more than happy to have them removed at an additional cost, but I could be wrong as I do not know the man or how he runs his business.

No. A CZ75 is one of the finest examples of a 9mm handgun designed and if you ever field strip one you will find tooling marks galore. Tooling marks are just marks caused by the tooling. They don't make a product good or bad.

So you state that becasuse another comany produces shoddy products and has a reputation for dishonesty that they may somehow be related to BOHICA? What the hell kinda crap is that? THR is not a place for insults or insinuations. Questions are fine, but do your homework first. I did mine and I found nothing but praise for this gentlemans work. Heck, I ordered one.

xephael has only 2 posts to his name and both are derogatory remarks about Bohica. :scrutiny:
Sounds like someone is intentionally trying to sabotage a reputation. Rival company?
