I did some trading and picked up a Fostec Echo II AR 2-shot trigger. I installed it yesterday and shot it. It's odd - but I wanted to try it out.
If nothing else the semi-auto trigger is decent.

I also picked up a Sylvan Arms Folding Buffer Tube Adapter. I haven't installed that yet.
I just couldn't stomach the price tag on the Law Tactical Folding Buffer Tube Adapter.

I have a Fostech in my 5.56 SBR and it's definitely an odd experience. The Franklin Armory ones work much better IMHO. They both are a bear to install though... I have a LaRue MBT2S trigger in my 16in 5.56 and it's pretty darn good to shoot quickly since it's a light two stage trigger.

My birthday is so close to Christmas

I dont really ask anyone for christmas presents nowadays but Im kinda hopeful someone gets me some more reloading components, particularly primers.

I never get gun stuff for Christmas or birthdays, so I just buy it myself when I need or want it.

I gave an LCP Max to #2 D-n-L
..but gave everyone a little olight utility knife in their stocking.

To #1 and #3 sons I gave each an Old Timer gut hook knife(much like a Wyoming knife) #3 son I also gave a Kershaw flipper lockblade.
I didn't receive any guns. But Mrs Claus did get me a Sightmark Wraith 4k Max night vision scope.
#1 son got me a JETBOIL personal cooking system for upcoming adventures.
