Bore Guide Recomendations?

To preserve my rifles crown and bore I have been looking to get a bore guide. The issue is that there seems to be no standard sizes, some are for cal's:17-22 and 23-45....but others are from 17-30 and 30-50......
I have a Remington m700 223 and am looking at:

1) Stoney Point Bolt Action Bore Guides (~$21.99)
2) Hoppes Universal Bore Guide w/Three Interchangeable Tips For Bolt ...(~$25.60)
3) Delrin O-Ring Bore Guide 221, 222, 223, 222 mag., and 204 Rifles (~$15.95)

If anyone has a Remington bolt action in 223 and has found a guide that they really like/works well, I would appreciate hearing your experience.

The best one would be a possum hollow, made by sinclair international. Buy a set of replacement O-rings and the solvent port and you'll be good to go.

For cleaning rods I prefer one piece stainless Pro-Shot rods, they are stiff and smooth and won't hurt your bore. Some disagree with that and swear by Dewey coated rods, some say the coating is too fragile and collects particles. Another good one is a Tipton coated rod. Asking which one is best starts a whole new can of worms! You also need a good brush, the Dewey no-harm, pro shot benchrest brushes and many others that have bronze bristles with a brass core are awesome and won't harm you bore.

I use the Stoney Point Bore Guides on my Remington 700 in .243 & .270. They're the only ones I have any experience with, but I like them.

2nd the recommendation on getting good cleaning rods and brushes. I use the Tipton one-piece carbon fiber rods, have 5 of them in various lengths and sizes. I also use the Iosso Eliminator Rifle Bore Brush, nice nylon brush with a brass core.

I have Midway's Bore Guide and solvent port however they don't seem to be available any longer. Possum has a great line @ MidwayUSA. You may want to consider Gunslick's Universal Bore Guide/solvent port. Price is right.
