Dang it, Fail!
I bought 30 Mauser dies thinking it was 30 Luger. ???
Now what do I do?
when did Lee Steel $22 dies become $40+!I'd buy a gun that shoots 30 Mauser, but that's me.
I think this is what you wanted.

The Lee dies work fine for me.
FYI, Starline is now listing 30 Luger brass "buy now".
i kinda collect dies. it’s like having a socket set, might eventually use them. paid $31+tax for the Mauser dieFollow your Heart! Buy a gun to match or put them up for sale. Personally I don't care about having dies that I won't use but like I said, Follow your Heart!
except the C98, what other gun shoots 30 Mauser?I'd buy a gun that shoots 30 Mauser, but that's me.

From a quick look, there doesn't appear to be much available other than C96 Mausers. It seems the other somewhat common gun is the Astra 900, basically a Spanish sort of copy of the Mauser C96. There is the rare and expensive Schwarzlose Model 1898. The Chinese also copied the C96. The Germans tried some submachine guns in 30 Mauser during WW1. The C96 seems to be the best choice of what's somewhat available.

I suspect that they went to $40 about the same time that primers went from $38/1000 to $100/1000. I bought my Lee 30 Luger dies about 5 years ago. If I recall correctly, I paid about $25 for them.
Yep, it's the only suitable option.I'd buy a gun that shoots 30 Mauser, but that's me.
so… 30 Mauser die can load …. 30 Luger and 7.62x25 Tok ????? 4 real!!!You should be able to use those dies for 7.62x25 Tokarev as well.
Enablers…. Well it’s a good time to start collecting, not going to get youngerYep, it's the only suitable option.
well that makes it 100 easy!!!You could just order the sizing die for 30 luger the seating and expander dies are likely identical.
well that makes it 100 easy!!!
I’m just going to buy brand new sets of appropriate dies. Guns are too pretty to mess up.If you want a factory crimp die, I believe Lee sells it and it's actually for both Mauser and Tok cases (not sure about Luger tho). Lots of 7.63x25 Mauser has been fired through a 7.62x25 Tokarev, just not the other way around because factory and surplus Tok ammo is hotter than Mauser. It would be interesting to see if the Luger sizer is all you'd need, but dies are sold in sets unless you can get only a sizer direct from the manufacturer..??
