Bought 30 Mauser dies

From a quick look, there doesn't appear to be much available other than C96 Mausers. It seems the other somewhat common gun is the Astra 900, basically a Spanish sort of copy of the Mauser C96. There is the rare and expensive Schwarzlose Model 1898. The Chinese also copied the C96. The Germans tried some submachine guns in 30 Mauser during WW1. The C96 seems to be the best choice of what's somewhat available.

Schwarzlose Model 1898

I suspect that they went to $40 about the same time that primers went from $38/1000 to $100/1000. I bought my Lee 30 Luger dies about 5 years ago. If I recall correctly, I paid about $25 for them.

after looking up the C96 that they have left. It’s a real grip from the era. Called a Bolo! floral plastic grips

well that makes it 100 easy!!!

If you want a factory crimp die, I believe Lee sells it and it's actually for both Mauser and Tok cases (not sure about Luger tho). Lots of 7.63x25 Mauser has been fired through a 7.62x25 Tokarev, just not the other way around because factory and surplus Tok ammo is hotter than Mauser. It would be interesting to see if the Luger sizer is all you'd need, but dies are sold in sets unless you can get only a sizer direct from the manufacturer..??

I’m just going to buy brand new sets of appropriate dies. Guns are too pretty to mess up.
