Hi, everyone. A few weeks back I rented a Glock 43 and fired 50 rounds through it. http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=778514
I really liked it and my range had them for sale at a somewhat inflated $560. However, I wanted the gun NOW, I don't see the price as a gouge and was willing to pay $80 premium so I went ahead and bought it. I brought three different brands of 115 grain FMJ 9mm (Blazer Brass, Remington Green Box, Aguila) got down to business.
Here is my target at 25 feet. I still have a ways to go when it comes to trigger control but I'm pretty happy with these groups right out of the gate. I have medium sized hands (no trouble grabbing the "thick" double-stack Glocks) and this thin gun is a bit harder to get grip on. That said it is sooooo much more controllable than my Kahr CW380 or the Kahr PM9 I used to own.
Here is my target at 45 feet. Again, I'm happy with it as a beginning from such small gun but there's plenty of room to improve.
Here are some comparison shots, left to right: Kahr CW380, Glock 43, Glock 26
Likes: Reliability=100%, Recoil=Manageable, Very Thin & Light
Dislikes: "Serrated" trigger, rubbed my trigger finger after only 150 rounds, I really prefer the standard Glock trigger surface
