I'd been looking for a small sized 9MM for concealed carry to replace my Ruger LCP .380 I've had for many years. Was perusing a regional gun store website last night and they had a Kimber Micro 9MM 2020 Shotshow Special in Matte Black marked down $100 to $499. Called them as soon as they opened this morning to verify they had it in stock and drove 55 miles to the store to make the purchase.

Comparison in size to my full size Beretta 92F and Ruger Security-9.

Good choice. I have the Sig version and am very happy with it. I usually carry mine with a flush fitting magazine instead of the extended mag since it conceals better for me. Whether it is the Kimber Micro, Sig P938, or Springfield 911, they are good little pistols for CCW.

Very cool! I handled a micro 9 last year when I was shop[ping for a new carry gun. It seemed very nice indeed. I ended up with a Sig P938 Legion because it had a few more features I liked a little better, but the Kimber was a close second for me.

Enjoy!

Bought my wife one awhile back with the laser grips at a nice price. Nice little pistol and accurate. Eats everything we have fed it as well.

Very nice.
I picked one up last October on sale for $479 at Cabela's.
My step son spent a few hundred more on the "Bel Air" Blue version.
I wish I could buy one of every model.

Hope you like it! I have a Sig P938SAS but sometimes I wish I had gotten the Kimber Micro9. It just looks well put together!

I looked and handled both the Kimber Micro and Sig P938 when I was looking to buy a few years ago. I really could not tell a difference in build quality between the two. It boiled down to different features on each and different prices depending on the features.

One thing I like about the Kimber is that it comes from the factory with an aluminum trigger where the Sig is plastic. When I bought mine, I wanted factory night sights and rubber grips. so went with the Sig P938 Nitron. IF Kimber would have had the Micro with rubber grips and night sights for the same price as the Sig, it would have been a hard choice to make for me.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Kimber Micro or the Sig P938 or even the Springfield 911.

I agree. The Kimber feels a little fuller in my hand and seems a little less blocky, but I do love my P938. The SAS model I have is certainly smoothly finished compared to the regular 938's, which I find sharp edged. The Kimber extended mag has a nicer base plate extension, I think.
