Put 200 rounds through it yesterday, no hiccups. I always wanted a sub gun, particularly a MP5 but those are hard to come by, real ones anyway. Anyway I compared both the MPX and the new Scorpion but I knew I would always truly want the MPX so I plunked down the cash. I was a bit dissapointed that I didn't get the case. All the unboxing videos I've seen had a real nice hard case, mine just came in a crappy cardboard box. Very excited about this gun, it just looks cool and personally I think it makes a lot of sense as an HD platform.
The gun came with some rails, some type of QD mount in which I am completely clueless as to its purpose, a decent single point bungie and one magazine. Sig did throw in the proper torx wrench for attaching the side folding brace which was nice of them. The only issue I had was the brace was extremely difficult to fold, I had to hit it with a rubber hammer to get it to fold. It sort of pops up and then folds. After the initial stiffness it folds fairly easily now. It also is secured in the folding position so its not flopping around. The built in QD mount is well positioned and it just feels nice in the hand. Accuracy is superb, recoil is very light. In short it is an excellent weapon.
Magazines seem to be in the realm of unicorns as I can find none but Sig did include a coupon for three extra and a mag pouch for 139 bucks. The rep told me 16 weeks for delivery! Oh well, I plan on keeping it for a while so I'm sure production will get up to speed.
