bought a pistol today with a weird ser#

So I pick up a used semi-auto pistol today at a show and the ser# was like 000666.
so now I am thinking I am doomed. Should I get rid of it or keep it?

The number 666 is referenced in the Book of Revelation and refers to a numbered mark of the beast to be placed on your hand or forehead in order to buy goods. I don't think you'd be damned to keep it, but personally, I like to avoid keeping that number sequence around just to be free of any evil associations.

Somebody else had a AK with 666 in the serial # on here. I think the general concenus was to sell it on Gun Broker with the ser# as a highlight. I have a horse trailer with a Manufacturing date of 7/7/77 think it will be lucky?

Funny thing with the serial # on the frame running up and down I was thinking it maybe 999 but alas it is on the slide plain as day 666.

The pistol of the beast is fine. Sometimes a number is just a number, and any evil that is reflected from that gun comes from the heart of the man shooting it, not an inert object incapable of moral action.
