Bought my copy of the Handloader magazine on DVD, anyone else?

I don't have it on DVD, but I have every issue since the beginning in binders. I even have some duplicates of some of the early issues. Issue Number 1, for instance.

that would be very cool. National Geographic did that awhile back, almost bought it once it dropped down to $200, and haven't seen a set in ages now.

$600 is a bit much though...I'm sure well worth it, but a bit rich for my wallet right now. That's a lot of reloading components...or another gun. heh.
 
Yeah I was thinking it is another gun, but I figure if I read each edition over just like I read the current edition, then I would spend about 500 hours just reading, let alone studying the information. Thus it will cost me about a buck and hour and I will spring for that.

I considered another gun concept but good quality guns that I like are few and far between for $600, now they are at least 2x or 3x that. SIGH.....

I will tell you that Handloader and Rifle DVD's have been worth a great deal to me. Especially when you add in quickload. I use them all a lot!

I just do a lot of searches when I need quick information on things.
 
I have the DVD set and enjoy reading it. Lots of stuff to learn and these articles were written before it was necessary to keep the advertisers happy by writing glowing commentary on their products. If something worked it was reported, smae if it did not work.

Not anything like what passes for an objective article today.
 
If it was $200 I'd be all over it. $600? Nah.

I have ordered a couple of the 'yearly' DVDs, at $20 it makes more sense then spending $8 on a single printed back issue.

Hey I know this is an old thread, but I need to raise some cash and am selling my copy. I googled to see what they are going for and this thread popped up. I have the 40 year set plus an extra DVD, the 2006-2008 one. If you are interested I am hoping to get $425 for them shipped. They are in like new condition. PM me if you'd like to claim them!
