Right now I do not even know how to get to the battery or, once a working one is in place, turn it on.
I wonder if it is properly mounted and not upside-down. I would think you want the led arm to be completely enclosed by the black box... or not?
In any case, after I finish breakfast I will try it out. These guys here:
told me they have a range on premises and I was welcome to use it for free. Since they are like 2mi from home, I am taking that offer.
IIRC, the knurled machine screw that goes into the pendulum is both the on/off switch and the dis-assembly screw. Remove the screw, lift up the plastic cover, and the watch battery will fall out. Be careful not to break that contact wire... .
