This was a major news story on the local "if it bleeds, it leads" station yesterday and this morning. Do you have any idea how many BBs or pellets I have taken in my lifetime? Never once been hospitalized for any of them either. Not that I advocate going around randomly shooting folks with a pellet gun, but grow a pair. Suck it up. It ain't that big a deal.

A 3-year-old boy was apparently shot in the arm by a BB gun Wednesday morning while walking south along the street with his mother, Miami-Dade police said.
The incident occurred about 10:45 a.m. along 41st Street and Southwest 111th Avenue, as mother and son walked hand in hand, police said.
The mother said she heard a sound coming from the roadway, then her son grabbed his arm. She found a round hole in his skin and realized he had been shot.
''We're not sure yet what happened, but we believe the boy was shot with a BB,'' said Joey Giordano, a police spokesman.
The wound is not life threatening. The boy was transported to Baptist Hospital.
Police said they canvassed the area but did not find the shooter.
