I have a BP CVA.
IT ONLY HAS A 7 DIGIT SERIAL#.
ANY HELP WHEN IT WAS MADE?

Look at the 1st two photos of the CVA rifle in the post above mine.
Your gun should have either a 2 digit code or a 13 digit code if was made after 1994.
But your codes don't match up to known production dates.
The 2 digit code is stamped with a small mark, dot or star in between them as shown in the photo.
It would be 2 digits, either a letter and a number or 2 numbers.
A7 does not correspond to any production year at all.
Is there another 2 digit code or does it have a 13 digit code?
Are you sure that it says A7 and not A2?
Could part of the 2 be missing that makes it look like a 7?
Is there a small mark, dot or star in between the A and the 2 like this?--->>> A' 2
A'2 would be 1981.
If not then please look for another 2 digit code.
Or confirm if it's a 13 digit code or not and the last two digits.
