BP gets in the way!

i figure that someday the right girl will show up, i think God has a plan for me. i know that relationships do have their quirks, no relationship or even marriage is going to be without disagreement, it's just part of life. whether it's a lack of interest in your 1858 Remmys or whatever. i have come to realize it's all part of life, but the really good couples learn to get through these things. a wise friend once told me "real girls aren't perfect and perfect girls aren't real" hehe! ain't that the truth!

until then i don't need to despair, I'm happy anyway. I'm just going to shoot blackpowder and have fun. right when i was in bad shape i didn't go get drunk of wrestle with drugs, i grabbed my guns and shot until i was in a better mood. it sounds silly, but it actually has done better for me than therapists have been able to do. is that crazy or what? it's cheaper too!

I still shoot a lot with my carries and other cartridge modern handguns, but for the last 40 odd years, cap and ball has been a passion. I just really enjoy a laid back range session with cap and ball and for the last 20 years I've been shooting a lot with BP rifles which I'm also beginning to prefer for hunting. Now, if I get a BP shotgun and start hunting ducks in the salt marsh with it, I'll KNOW I've gone over the edge.
