We have been thinking about moving to central or south central Missouri. I've noticed several of you guys are from Mo. Any thoughts on best areas to live, shooting facilities, clubs, etc. Here in SD a 5 min ATV ride and I'm in Natl. Forrest and can shoot all I want. Can you shoot in Mark Twain Natl. Forrest? I've talked to rangers there and they don't seem to know or don't want to talk about it.

For me, shooting and hunting is a big deal, lack of same is a deal breaker. Any help, ideas, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Roger S.

There's a club just outside Gainesville. Barren Fork Traditional Muzzleloaders.
Nice group of folks.

I'm in Kansas City. East about 20 miles is Ft. Osage Muzzleloaders Club.
Three big 3-day shoots a year plus National Tetronial shoots. Every monthly
shoot. We shoot year round. Swap meet every month also. Buy real Black
Powder at range 15.00 a lb. Caps also.

I'm near Ft Leonard Wood. Local SASS club is Central Ozarks Western Shooters - we shoot at IPSC/IPDA range (Central Ozarks Practical Shooters) between FLW and Rolla. Trap & skeet range on East side of Rolla. They have covered pistol and rifle range as well. Other SASS clubs in Fayette, Springfield, Cassville, East of Columbia. NCOWS club in Marshfield. MO dept of Conservation has big range complex near Springfield (Bois D'arc). Trap & Skeet range between Springfield and Branson on Hwy 65. Graf & Sons is in Mexico, MO. Among other things, they carry reloading supplies and powder to include BP and subs.
