I made a very long, thoughtful and frankly AWESOME post, and it got one sarcastic comment and was promptly deleted. Dissenting opinions not only not welcome, not tolerated or acknowledged it seems.
 
Aris Dumbrys anyway, so, went to the shooting range tonight, got to
shoot a CZ-75, H&K 40 S&W, and Sig Sauer 226, all handguns
rented from the range, but talking to some of the workers there was just
frustrating.One was complaining about how people might be forced to
pay for certification and registration.
Why is that so bad? Clearly
all the accidental shootings and deaths show us
that lots of people are not very well educated in how to handle guns.
Just because some people know how to respect firearms, DOES NOT mean
that everyone does. There are lots of people who need to have real
training in firearms before they are allowed to purchase one. We don't
allow people to just get behind the wheel of a car!!! Anyway, what
argument can you have against that?

i responded to this saying we take tests before we can drive yet many people still do stupid things and many more people are killed with cars than guns.

my comment was deleted within half an hour and i was removed from the group. My statement wasn't even that pro-gun, its just the truth
 
You can report the page as violating terms as racist/hate speech (which it is the latter) or targeting you or a friend (which it most certainly does).

They are cowards because they refuse to let others post on their 'public' site. They know they will be overrun by pro-gun postings.
 
I found you can "like" their page, long enough to make a drive by posting, and then 'unlike' their page. I posted the following:

Everytime you buy a gun, somewhere a bed wetting liberal weeps... So I buy AT LEAST 1 gun a month! HA - GET SOME!

I posted some things on there. See how long it lasts.

I joined this guy ARIS' gun "control discussion page" which seems like a good discussion page. He likes shooting but has been brainwashed a bit by the Bradys. We have a convert in the making if we work at it.
 
If you guys really want to discuss gun control with antis, join PoliticalForum.com. I did recently and have had a good number of intense debates on the Gun Control forum. It's nice actually trying to make a difference by talking to real antis instead of preaching to the choir on gun sites, which while it feels good to be among those who agree, does nothing.

My SN is the same as on here. Oh by the way, look out for the poster LiberalMinority. He's a real loon and the worst kind of liberal. Have fun!
 
Might I suggest posting diatribes about free speech as well?

Maybe someone could point out that if you're required to constantly edit comments to remove an overwhelming abundance of contradictory opinions....

.....anyone with a shred of intelligence might wonder "why?" instead of mindlessly removing the billions of "wrong" opinions opposed to your view instead of the 8 that agree with you?


Or

If you left a comment asking if posters there knew how many comments were removed.....

....would that be removed?

I wonder how long either would last?

Is there anyone here who keeps creating accounts just to leave comments on their site, only to get banned and have to create another account to leave a pro-gun comment, to get banned, etc., etc., ad infinitum?

Think about it: If 50 pro-gun folks did this continuously on a volunteer basis.....

...how much money would they have to expend paying someone to monitor and edit their site?

Certainly their mods wouldn't be constantly editing on a volunteer basis? Would they?

Left most column of their page with the wall. All the way at the bottom. It's a simple little link, not even a button.

I posted something asking why they censor other peoples opinions.

Its already deleted along with all my other posts.

Just start our own group and make them come to us where they can't delete anything I we will quickly overtake their "likes" amount lol.
 
+1 to MisterMike. I agree that if we do have a little fun by reminding them about about how much fun and how useful guns are, we should do it in a polite manner.

Also, there are a few who suport 2A on the page: After I posted a question about teaching gun safety in the public schools, (Which they sort of didn't answer) I got two emails from pro 2a guys "Informing" me of how the Brady campaign is wrong (but they did it in a way that, if I had been an anti, I would have found logical and completely non-offensive.)

Thanks for pointing out the location of the "unlike" link! Now I know where it is, I can "like" for long enough to post a comment then "unlike" again.
 
I wouldn't advocate being a jerk; that just validates their story line that gun nuts are "nuts." You can fully expect to be banned from posting comments if you make ANY pro-2A statement, regardless of how truthful or innocuous it may be.

I don't think it is "being a jerk" to post truthful pro-2A statements on that page.
