The Bureau's director announced that their highest priority would be any car, truck or SUV with a black paint job. "These lethal assault cars are a menace that needs to be removed from our nation's highways immediately." Also on the Bureau's list are aftermarket accessories such as 'cop-killer' bumpers.
Okay, so my '80s Firebird'll have to have just enough very dark gray added to the mix to make it look black, while not actually being so (or maybe just paint everything below the swage line silver--it looked good on TV, anyway... Hmm... pre-ban 24-gallon fuel cell, high-MPG drivetrain built from pre-ban parts... oh, and a high-power mainframe computer in the trunk to run the new computerized control system and all the traffic-data systems, comms and fuzzbusters. We won't even discuss the gun rack and its contents...
And you'll see the GoodGuys types saying, "This is only reasonable, they're not gunning for our Rod & Custom '34 Fords..."

Don't get me started, automotive laws are almost as insane as gun laws. You know it's illegal to try to be environmentally-conscious by retrofitting a catalytic converter onto a vehicle that doesn't have one? Not to mention all the crap of California's emission standards, which it sounds like the entire Left Coast has adopted...
I'm not sure whether to be amused or pained by this very pointed and on-the-money view of the situation involving two of my interests...
