I'm old and fat and hate bending over to recover my brass so my wife helped me build this brass catcher. Everything folds up and fits into the ammo box.

Ammo can, electrical conduit and couplers for the legs, shock-cord tent poles for the uprights and cross pieces, carpet mat for the catcher in the front, and fish net.

tding,
That is really sweet, looks like you put a lot of thought into building this catcher, it is a great design.
I am 75 years old and I have a hard time picking up all my brass, the ground just keeps getting farther away:)
Thanks for the pic, now the wheels are turning.

Very nice job on that right there tding!!

About a month ago, we were eating at our favorite Mexican restaurant.
Glancing out the window, I noticed they had put up brand new Bud Light patio umbrellas in the outside tables.

So, I ask the waitress what they did with the old umbrellas.

She sent the manager over, who just gave me one of the old ones.

It works perfect to catch brass once you figure out where the gun is chucking them.
Also folds and stores easily.

I would love to build something like that!

The american mind has been known to improvise. Outstanding job. Great wife to help in this project. Congrats.

one of those EZ Reacher or Gopher things they sell for old folks to get stuff off the floor and off high shelves also works well except you have to pick it up one at a time

pretty cool design. good job!
