It appears to be less sensational than the original poster indicates.

From cnn.com

A man shot a woman today at CNN Center complex. A witness who is a CNN employee saw a male shoot a black female twice at the Omni hotel, which is part of CNN Center.

Suspect currently in custody. 2 black males on the floor, being held at gunpoint by security. 2 wounded at the complex.

Less sensational, hmm. Sorry it wasn't a Hollywood-style shootout. Sorry to burst your bubbles.

(reflecting on Nazi Germany in the 1930's) NailGun climbs into not one, but two layers of flame suit.....

I would not be surprised to find out that CNN management staged this "incident".
A twisted entity will manufacture situations and news that fit their twisted agenda. "Hey, Everybody!!! Look here!! Those bad guns should be BANNED NOW!"

Shock Value! Knee Jerk! We NEED More Laws......... yada yada....you know the rest.

I hope that I am wrong, but I am very skeptical that this wasn't a planned CNN news event.

NailGun.

This is quite possibly the worst conspiracy theory post ever posted on this board. And that's saying a lot. It's not even a good attempt at a conspiracy theory. You'd think that if they were going to stage something, they would have had dozens shot.

No prob - Turner/CNN used armed guards, and one of 'em capped the shooter.
I'm glad somebody was armed who could respond. I wonder if the location in question is posted against concealed carry, though?

You are. The proles who watch the other big TV news network, Fox, would be dancing in the streets if there were a major catastrophy at CNN headquartres.

Too bad. If they would have put up a "No Guns Allowed" sign, there would have been no need for armed guards. :neener:

Not necessarily. I believe that Time-Warner owns CNN. It is extremely cost conscious.

Remember that actors today generally have contracts that include residuals. The cost of rerunning the videos would mount steadily if there were dozens shot.

Let us not dismiss the possibility that it is a low budget conspiracy.
