What makes a Briley a Briley (and not a Ruger)? I see the Briley Sporter is based on a 77/22 and costs $895 so what makes it different?
Also, what's Briley's reputation like as far as quality, accuracy and anything else?
I'm looking for a nice offhand-shooting bolt-action .22lr for hunter class silohuette. Also considering the Remington 504 & CZ452.
The Cooper Squirrel Rifle looks sweet, but is on the expensive side, same for the Anschutz 17XX series.
