This is pretty incredible... except that it's coming from the UK, which just seems to be on a roll for stories of incredible stupidity, punishment of the innocent and rewarding of the guilty.

Shooting groups are reporting a growing number of cases where officers in armed response vehicles and helicopters are swooping on people who are legally shooting.

In many cases, the shooters are arrested and have had their guns seized. They are sometimes locked up and have their DNA taken, before police accept their error. (CONTINUES AT LINK)

The question is, do Brits have the same protections against unlawful detention and arrest that we do? And are the detentions/arrests lawful? And even IF unlawful, would the average Brit even think to assert whatever legal rights he has?

The solution to problems like that in the USA would be to sue anything and anyone in cruise missile range.

I've deleted about 75% of the posts on this thread for being political, talking about televisions shows, or other randomness. Let's try to keep this on topic.

France is missing its chance to finely win a war. With England That country is so lost and full of scared sheep I think France could win one. Unless of course a French solider was to drop his rifle by accident . Then they would think the order to surrender had been given and would drop theirs also .:what:
The mighty England:rolleyes: . Maybe we should have been easier on them in the 1770 's been pretty much down hill for them since then:D

When you breed fear and oppression, you get fear and oppression. Not surprising considering the direction the UK has been going in for several decades.
