Hi. Just bought a FN/Bronwing 1910/1922. It shoots great, but there's a problem. I have hard time with the grip safety. I must squeeze the grip really hard, to disengage the safety. I never have problem with 1911's grip safety at all. But the 1910 has this little grip safety that barely sticks out. I read a Texas Ranger wraped leather around the grip to disengage the safety because once he had to shoot from an awkward position and the grip safety prevent his gun from firing but luckily he survived the gun malfunction; so after that incident he always use the leather. Is there a more elegant solution for my 1910?

I don't plan to carry it. The barrel is too long for concealment. It's just a plinker. And it's my only automatic. I will use it for the concealed carry qualification test.
