Just got handed down a Browning A5 that's been in the family a few decades, a Light 12 model. There's a hairline in the stock so I'm having that sent away and fixed. In the meantime I want to detail strip this bugger and clean it out.
So far internet guides have gotten me to the point where I have the barrel, forend and stock off. I've removed the action spring and plugs and have them soaking cause they were filthy. Going to clean the action tube tomorrow.
There are two more areas I want to get at: the mag tube and inside the receiver. Just looking at the gun it appears a few sets of screws holds the trigger pack in, which would drop out and permit access to the receiver, bolt and mag tube. Thing is, I don't want to start unscrewing things willy nilly and have springs and parts go everywhere...
Any help or links to guides greatly appreciated.
