I put it by my baby rock for size comparing. It came with 2 mags and a soft carry case. Cabelas was busy with gun buyers. It took about an hour for the check for me.
I took it down. Very easy BTW. Cleaned and lubed it. Only concern is the guide rod is plastic or nylon. It appears to have a built in buffer too. Trigger pull checked out to be 5 lbs steady. Almost as easy to cock as my EZ and Walther. Maybe it will lighten up with break in. Im going to attempt to shoot it lefty on Weds. Mags are not interchangeable with my baby rock.
My 1911-380 was a great pistol. Recoil is probably half the Baby Rock (compared mine to Llama MicroMax) due to the Browning being locked breech vs. blowback operated. The Brownings are also very much scaled-down 1911’s in design.
Took it out today. Distance 10 paces. A lot of stove pipes and failure to feed at 1st. Load was 100 grain Xtreme hollow points. 2.8 grains of Bullseye. Last mag full ran with no hold ups. Left handed shooting lasted for the 1st mag full . I was shaking a lot at 1st. I think i was nervous with my finger surgery.
I'll post my next outing results. Thanks for the links. I sure hope i don't go through that. At least the last mag ran perfect in mine. I may have did some limp wristing too. I just had a knuckle replaced in my right hand middle finger. So i can't grip with it yet.
