Browning BPS

I own an older BPS. After 17+ years, my browning and my Remingtons are still trouble free. The Browning seemed to be the nice gun many years ago. But after 17+ years, the Browning seems to be of less quality than my old 1100's or 870's. I bought a nice 1100 at about the same time, and it is much nicer today. Both work beautifully, but the browning has noticeably more wear on the stock and the blueing is sub par. The 1100 still looks factory fresh save for a few nicks on the stock from yours truly. Not only that, I've used the 1100 3 or 4 times as often. The 870 Marine Magnum that I bought the 2nd year of their introduction is still looking almost factory fresh. It displays some wear over the top of the tube that sticks out farther than the barrel from the 1000's of rounds that I've put through her.

But we're talking about 15 year old workhorses here, not really helping you too much am I? After almost a couple of decades, I don't regret purchasing either. But if I had to pick just one, I'd own a Remington.
