I think the main assumptions being tossed around here is that new shooters are incapable of learning how to use a given weapon.

Thank you. You made my point for me with much less verbiage and much more civility.

You might as well start on a SA, because otherwise, it's the old Catch-22. If only an "experienced" shooter should do XYZ, how do you or I get "experience?"

Rellascout, that is one sexy BHP. I think I'm going to have to order a set of those grips and seriously look at getting some of those Novak sights installed.

edit: I see now those are Trijicon sights Hmmm. Nice.

Thanks Bryan,

It is my favorite pistol. I had a gentleman in Alaska who runs Wild West Guns do the work. It came out great.

Novak can set up you up with sights. All you have to do is send the slide to them.

Spegels are nice. Pricey but nice. http://www.lightningarms.com/spegel.htm

Yeah, I was looking BHP stuff on Novak's web site. They carry the Spegel grips as well. They're proud of them but ... wow.

If Ken took care of you at Wild West I know you have a nice pistol.

As a side note - Novak really needs to hire a web designer. Yeesh that's ugly.

Ken is the man. I am going to be doing a full house custom 1911 with him later this year. I have to get the funds.

He runs a great shop and his prices are incredible. They do great work on par with the top smiths in the world.
