In leather, probably OK. In kydex probably not as well.

I don't know where you're looking, or what you're comparing it to, but my guess is most makers produce a holster for a Browning Hi-Power.

Admittedly, not all leather holster makers have a good on-line list of models covered, but here are a few that list the Browning Hi-Power

Kramer https://www.kramerleather.com/collections/scabbard-pancake-gun-holsters/products/belt-scabbard

High Noon https://www.highnoonholsters.com/leather-holsters/belt/extreme-duty/topless

Lobo https://lobogunleather.com/handguns-accommodated/

Simply Rugged https://www.simplyrugged.com/gun-model-chart.cfm

Galco https://www.galcogunleather.com/browse-by-gun.html

I could probably keep going, but you get the picture.

Is there a particular holster or type you are looking for?

As already noted kydex will not work unless you remold the holster which depending on the design is that really that hard.

As for leather it might. BHPs in 9mm and 40 fit in some 1911 holsters and not others. It is really dependent on who made the holster and how close they are to the original form of the 1911. I have found that really nice 1911 holster do not work as well. Mass produced leather fits better. None fit as well as a holster made for the BHP.

Thanks for the replies. I was looking for an all leather iwb holster. I see you have some good examples listed. Thanks

The Hi-Power is an "old school" gun. While they may not specifically list them, nearly all of the old school leather makers should produce a holster for the Hi-Power.

While the Hi-Power is currently out of production, and is probably not as popular as it once was, the Hi-Power was in production for a lot of years and was very popular for a long time. Nearly everybody that makes a leather holster probably makes a holster for the Hi-Power.

You might also want to check out DeSantis Holsters as well. They have a number of leather IWB and OWB holsters for the Browning Hi-Power.

I have three different holsters for the BHP but they aren't iwb models. Two Safariland and one Bianchi. I also have a couple sets of Pachmayr Signature Model rubber grips. Only problem is I don't have a BHP :(. Guess I better start shopping for one or two :).
