As a fan of the Browning brand I have recently read that they have now released (in Australia) the X Bolt Stainless Stalker (SS) in .223 ( I have the .270 Win SS and love it. Not to mention the Browning A Bolt .17HMR which is also AAA in its class, IMO.)
April 2011 edition of Australian Sporting Shooter gives it a good wrap but I would like to hear from those who have the Browning X Bolt SS in .223 as to what you have experienced & factory ammo that you are using.
Thanks Eddie

Jeeze. I thought this was a "I bought it & here are the pictures" thread.

You know its gonna be good. Just go get it.

...and then post some pitchers!

I don't have an X-bolt SS, but I do have an A-bolt in .243 and its very accurate. I've shot mainly 100gr deer hunting ammo from Remington and Federal and 58gr Vmax ammo from Hornady out of it. It does 1" or less 100yard groups with both pretty regularly.

Don't have an X-Bolt in 223 but I have 2 in 270 and have shot one in 30-06. Every one I've shot has been incredibly accurate and I cannot imagine the 223 would be any different. I like mine better than other guns I own that cost much more. Go for it. You know it'll be a good shooter.
