I was given a Bryco 380, free price was more than it was worth....you could see all the way thru under the slide. Gun was so loose...it will soon be cut up. The barrel is good for plunk test. It does have an interesting unique takedown.

Do any of you know if the mags are compatable with another pistol? They are better built than the gun.

I have a Jimenez 380 and 22. In easy to reach places for home defense. They work for that purpose. I don't shoot them regularly at the range. The wife has a Jimenez 9mm. She shoots it often. She loves it. I still not had to fix it.

Internet says the .22 is safe to shoot. BUT, I saw where some 380s crack the frame at the chamber, and some 9mm's just plain let go.

I have one 25acp rof gun and given it's metallurgy I break it down and inspect the firearm for cracks every magazine or two through it.

I have heard the same, 22 and 25 are what they are. 380 is okay for occasional use. And avoid 9mm at all costs.
@PWC if you'd like to donate a barrel to a bad idea in the making hit me up. It'll have a good home where it can never hurt anyone again .

Thank you millweeks for the offer, but right now it is resting comfortably in my 380 die box. As said before, it is now my 380 plunk test tool.
