BT-100 and rem 1900 trap shooting.

tonight i shot my browning BT-100 first and shot a 24-25 and then shot my remington 1900 double barrel and shot a 25-25. i have shot many 25, and 50,s with my BT-100,but had never done it with my remington 1900. i had shot a few 23,s and 24,s but never a 25. the remington was made in 1906 and has 32 inch F&F steel barrels. happy,happy. eastbank.

It's funn to break a good score with a borrowed gun or one of your own that you aren't used to. It just assures you that you are doing the basics right.
My dad and I have 4E Ithaca's. He always shot his, however when I was young, he/we didn't want to shorten the stock, so I started out with a shortened Mod 12 Win. I shot it well so, I never changed to the 4E.
My mod 12 began to kick me in the face as I got older, to the popint that I was developing a flinch at the ripe old age of 18. My dads friend offered to let me try his 870 Competition. I broke a 100x100 with it on the first day. I have shot it ever since. around 25yrs.

i have a 70,s rem 870 TB and i also shoot it very well, but i like my BT-100. eastbank.

I hsve shot a BT-100 stnlss that belonged to a friend. It was an awesome trapgun, I considered getting one fopr myself. I really liked the quick locktime.

The old Remington SxSs are my favorite classic American double. I have one 1900 and it is a 16 gauge gun factory choked cylinder/mod with 28" barrels. I real upland game gun.

My only complaint about the Remington SxSs is that they tend to have a lot of drop at the comb. It was a different style of shooting back then.

i can handle the drop most of the time, but the lenth of pull was too short for me,so i put a slip on recoil pad on it, i put morgen adjustable pads on my newer clay game shotguns.eastbank.
