Built a new Kentucky Flintlock Pistol and Stand

Finished this one this week from a fancy maple precarved, not inlet stock from Track of the Wolf, 10" 45cal Green Mountain barrel and small Siler Lock. Made the stand from a plaque and other parts found at craft stores.

Thanks for the comments. I have not gotten a chance to sight it in yet. I checked the function with a few light loads in the back yard which did great. I hope to get to the woods or range in a week or so. I built it to complement the long rifle over the fireplace which I built a few years ago.

That clock works was replaced by a battery movement as the old wind up one was not keeping time. My daughter gave it to me to fix. I have a few old ones I had better luck repairing. I like working on them too.

The rifle barrel is a Green Mountain 42" in 45cal.

I came up with this rack because I did not like the blocky ugly wood racks that I saw everywhere for sale. They just hide too much of the nice wood stock.
