people have been asking me what my next project is. This video provides the answer. I’m going to build a Lehigh County inspired flintlock rifle using the barrel from a rifle I built 25 years ago.

I started a project with flintlock where I took an old beat up and cracked stock and dropped in a green mountain barrel and an RPL lock... that didn't quite RPL. I'm not sure what I did with this drop in, but in order to make it fit, had to open up almost the entire lock area and this dropped the lock about 1/8 of an inch causing my set trigger to malfunction and set off the lock just when cocking.. so took it out. Things work better now and i ordered a full length hawken stock from pecatonica and give that a shot... and inspired in fact by your original build.

I'm not a craftsman, but will venture where fools should never tread... Thank you for the stuff you do!
