Bullet Stop

I like seeing how a bullet expands so I will know what to use when the need arises. I was wanting to know what you use to test bullet expansion. I have got to get something better than what I have. I am currently shooting into a 5 gallon bucket full of wet newspapers. Everything expands good but anything over a 9mm hollow point will go through it. Also is there anything that I can use to test expansion on something like a .270 or a 7.62x39 SP. Thanks!!

if your concern is only expansion,
line up a bunch of water jugs and shoot into them
(have an appropriate back stop, of course)
