Most .45acp reloads are around 3.7 bullseye. easy recoil.I'm on the lookout for a nice M52. I've been unable to tame the recoil from the 1911 .45.
So I could compete with just 2 guns? 22 and a 45? Are revolvers common now with the timed and rapid fire portions?
Yes 2 guns. I did shoot a S&W M28 revolver in center fire in the 70s a few times, when i competed. Problem is reloading the gun fast enough, when everyone else is quickly loading a magazine. You can get by with 2 guns. 22lr & 45acp. Just use the 45 for center fire, also.
Irons will get you in a clasification according to your ability. Their are 5 clasifications, if you look at tne online rule book. Are optics necessary to be competitive or can it be done with iron sights
