Bulman Gun Leather still in business?

I'm curious too. Sent them an e-mail about some holster work I need done two months ago, never got a reply. Sent another e-mail this morning and got a reply from the email-bot saying :

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

[email protected]

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 4.2.1 mailbox temporarily disabled: [email protected] (state 14).

So I thought maybe they had an e-mail issue, no biggie. So then I called the phone number and instead of getting "Hi, you've reached Bulman Gunleather, please leave a message at the beep.... *beep*" I got some generic phone-company sounding message saying this number did not answer if you want to leave a message try again later...

Makes me wonder, are they having phone and e-mail trouble, or is the company no longer doing business? Anyone heard from them lately?

Mr. Bulman made a beautiful, top notch holster for me, but this was in 1998. I hope this is resolved, especially since he probably charged your credit card or cashed your check at the time you placed the order. (He could take a lesson from Milt Sparks and UBG here.) Sometimes artisans and craftsmen are not very good businessmen.

Well today is 17/11/11 so this is real recent. Like today. And Bulman Gunleather still seems to be having the same old problems. Cant e-mail them, cant call them for all of the same reasons posted back to 467 days ago. Thankfully I never decided to have Bulman build my shoulder holster. Can anyone tell me just what is up with Bulman Gunleather? Are they out of business? Still taking everyone's money but not delivering? What a pity...

Since my previous post, I've noticed Heirloom Precision no longer carries Bulman's holsters.

Heirloom Precision may be able to give you information about Bulman's status.

Bulman

I e-mailed Heirloom to see if they know anything about Bulman. Somehow I got a bad feeling about it. Hopefully Josh is OK and they are just slammed with backlog. But you would think they would at least acknowledge anything. I've bout 2 holsters from Jerry Haugen and they are awesome. Problem is his shop got flooded and he too is now backlogged. I hope he get's up and running as his holsters are so good I will wait in line.

I'm in the same boat. Bought stuff from Bulman before, great workmanship and quality. Emailed and called recently....email bounced back and phone won't even ring through.

Wierd that website is still up though....

Just checked the website, here's what it says:

In order to catch up on our backlog, we are not taking any new orders at this time. Thank you.
