Bummer at the range

I think of cell phones as something I buy and pay for for my convience. I carry my phone 24/7 but only answer calls during work hours. I leave it on vibrate if not working and don't answer it.

Everyone seems to be blaming the cell phone and the bill collector. How about if you paid your darn bills none of this would be a problem. Live within you means!

As for these people who only have a cell, just wait until there is a real national emergency and see how they work. No power and no cell phone after a few hours. However most hard wired telephones are designed to be powered from the Central Offices who have backup power and will last for a very long time. I know as I was a telphone man for 32 years. Yes I have a cell but I still rely on my hardwired phone lines at home just because I want communications when the fit hits the shan.

Thanks Gaffer, good holier-than-thou. I expect your life has been perfect with no bumps or bruises, then. Wish I was as perfect as you, and bow to your eternal awesomeness, you majestic poop.

Why is it that everytime I want to share what happened at the range someone has to have a holier than thou attitude. This will be the last time I share anything because of you Graffer. You think you are better than anyone else here. I am so sorry that we are not perfect like you.

Why you would even mention you are being hunted down by a bill collector is beyond the scope of my reasoning, in a THR thread...I mean like :uhoh: The High Road means just that... :D
