Let me pass on the enabling for any interested parties.

Might not want to "get up on it", unless you have better gloves than this guy.

We have one of those, and fair warning, they are louder than most .22 rifles.
I normally don't have to wear ear pro with the .22 long gun, but this one really cracks.
The Little Woman has a similar rifle in .45 Colt, and for the life of me, I can't remember what brand it is. Rossi maybe?
ETA: Nope, I think it's a Uberti

Probably noisier because of the barrel to cylinder gap.

If it's in a 45 Colt it's an Uberti or maybe a Pietta but I don't remember if Pietta ever made one.

That one is only a 22. One shot will smart enough to make you move your hand.

Of course we are a bunch of enablers. Someone has to keep the firearms industry stay healthy.
I have a great solution from waaaaaay back in my Civ War reenacting days:

Soft and supple kid gloves but very protective. Just ordered a new set as my old set disappeared a long time ago, probably gave them to somebody when I stopped CW reenacting.

Early days in CAS, I saw a guy campaigning one of those Revolving Carbines. It was not a good performer vs lever actions and pumps. Completely obsoleted as CAS went to just about all ten shot strings from the carbine. So was the other guy's Marlin pump; that thing was chain lightning, but only held six or seven .25-20s.

I'm assuming he had a cap & ball or BP cartridge Italian reproduction. I think this one is a fairly new offering (less than 10 years old) and would never pass historical muster.

That’s a pretty interesting gun, I guess it will be truly nice to have one in 10mm.

I still have a couple of pairs of new tig gloves that would work. They are not nearly as fancy as yours though. Goathide glove, cowhide cuff in light gray color. Honestly I have worn out and burned up so many pairs of heavy, long cuffed, welding gloves over the years I don't like to don gloves of any type and especially not when shooting.
