I'm wanting a lightweight, good-quality scope for a .223. One of the frontrunners is the Burris Fullfield II 2-7x35mm, but I noticed it has 1/2 MOA adjustments rather than the typical 1/4. Initially, this scope will primarily be used at the range at 100 yards with some 200+ yard work likely in the future. It seems like a great scope for the money, but the 1/2 MOA adjustments are my only hesitation. Any wisdom, knowledge or opinions? Thanks.

I have the 3-9x40 Fullfield ll and I'm very pleased and happy with it. It has 1/4" adjustments though. I don't think the 1/2" adjustments will be a problem though. The most you will be off is 1/4" at 100 yds. If you shot is 1/2" away from you point of aim, you move it one click. If it is 1/4" away, you just leave it. I don't think 1/4" in field conditions will be determental. You will only be off by 1/2" at 200 yds.
You might also check out the 3x9. You can get it on ebay for $150-$160.
