Sorry if this has been posted before by anyone. I got it in an e-mail, but don't remember from who and the subject is how much the press hates Bush.
The pope came to visit Bush in Washington D.C. The President took the pope on a tour of the Potomac on the presidential yacht. As they were seeing the sights, a sudden gust of wind blew the pope's hat off into the river. The Secret Service agents started to launch a little life boat to get the pope's hat, but Bush said, "Wait, wait. I'll get it." He walked over to the side and hopped over onto the water. He walked across the water, bent down and picked up the pope's hat. He then walked back across the water and hopped on the boat, presenting the pope his hat amidst stunned silence by everyone on board, including the press corps. The next day, pictures of Bush walking across the water made the front page. The headline read: "BUSH CAN'T SWIM!"
