Bushmaster Carbon 15 .22 mags?

I gave my nephew a Bushmaster Carbon 15 .22lr last summer for his birthday.

He loves it and shoots almost everytime they go out shooting. The silly thing, much to my disbelief, is running like a sewing machine.

He is doing very well and making every shot count. I want to give him larger mags so he does not have to manipulate the weapon as much.

Does anyone make larger capacity magazines for this thing? If so, where can I obtain them?

Might the 30-round Ciener mags work?

I'm not sure, as I don't really have much experience with the .22LR ARs, but maybe worth a look?

Hi-cap Mags for Bushmaster .22LR

Yes, hi-cap mags are available for Bushmaster's .22LR uppers. They are Black Dog Machine's M261 mags with a slight modification to the feedlips done at the BDM factory. I could only find one dealer that advertises them: www.ConversionCS.com

The reviews I've seen about the mag are all very positive. (I only wish I could say the same for Bushmaster's Carbon 15 .22LR upper.)

I called the folks in Ol' Virginny at CCS. Dan advised that the Bushmaster .22 mags "should" work. I'm going to order a few and see.
