Would you bet this man's future on what you think? I have seen it first hand...... Guy gets malfunction at the range..........ATF agent present.......Guy charged with manufacturer of machine gun........... the jury, convicts said guy. Next day same jury convicts ham sandwich of having mustard on it.
Back in the day, our servants, were not as overzealous as today, they also didn't send guns to drug cartels. (Fast and Furious) I would like to point out that policies of the BATFE, and all manner of alphabet soup agencies are according to the orders of the day, those orders given by the person/s in power at the time. Look at the recent "straw purchase" case the SCOTUS heard, Was the guy guilty....
Well, technically he was. But lets take a brief look at the facts;
1) guy can get a police discount on a pistol
2) guy's uncle wants same pistol, sends check and asks nephew to order.
3) nephew orders into an FFL, and accepts delivery from MFG at FFL (fills out the dreaded Yellow sheets, in which he says, he is the actual buyer.
4) nephew immediately, transfers ownership to his uncle..... Uncle fills out the same dreaded yellow sheets, gets approved, and it's done! Right!? NO! #2 UNCLE SENT CHECK TO NEPHEW.
The agency decided t go for it........... all the way to the supreme court.
I don't think the ATF are worried about frying fish anymore, it must seem boring to them after frying sixteen children under the age of 16 in Waco Texas, and having the blood on their hands from the murders committed with the arms they provided thru fast and furious. (under of the direction of the DOJ) It is noteworthy that no one has ever paid for that atrocity, even though, at least two federal agents, (not to mention American citizens) were murdered, as a direct result of their actions. It has now been conveniently been swept under the rug, then the rug nailed down.
Please be careful what you put out there, we don't live in the same world we grew up in. It is also noteworthy that Eric Holder was number two right behind Janet Reno, in the DOJ, while Waco burned.
