I was reading the latest issue of S.W.A.T and saw an article on the Century International Arms C-15 Rifle. I was just wondering if anybody here has one or ever shot one before? I will be in the market for an AR-15 type rifle in a couple of months and was wondering if they are a good deal or not. According to the article they are assembled from used Colt M-16A2 upper receiver with the click adjustable rear sight on the carry handle and a DPMS manufactured lower receiver. I don't know how much they are going for, the article only says under $700.00. But for under $700 I can get a new DPMS Panther series. Which would be the better buy. If I can't get an answer here I will try over at AR-15.com, just figured I would ask you guys first.

I would shop around some more as you will be able to find a NEW AR for about the same price. www.sableco.net has Rock River Arms complete uppers with great prices. If you shop around you can rpobably find a RRA complete lower for about $250. Slap'em together and let her rip. Hope this helps

Save your money and buy or build a new one. You can build one for $600 buy a factory one for about $700.

Both brand spanking new.

Why pay for an M16A2 brought back to America from some third world country turn in when you can buy a new rifle for that much?

Feel like being a test bed?

Why not go with a company that has a good reputation, rather than Century's infamously poor one?

Agree with all of the above given advice. Save up the extra $100 or so and get a nice factory DPMS, Bushy, or Rock River Arms, Armalite or Colt. You would rather have one of the above mentioned company's standing behind their product.

Good advice, I don't know what I was thinking. I am definately going to get one, will probably be a DPMS or Bushmaster. Thanks everybody.
