Gentleman (and Ladies),
Please provide me with a general direction and idea the cost inolved with the C&R licensing. I really want to some milsurps while they are cheap and all my local ffl's want 40 bucks a pop for transfers. Any pointers would be great. TIA
PM or email is fine as well.

Go to the above web site and you will find instructions reviews and a link to the BATF where you can get the form.

I think it was $30 for a 3 year license. Unless you live in NY, it take about 1 to 2 months.

The great part will be explaining to my wife how much money I'm saving by buying all these old guns. Same schtick I used for the reloading. Thanks a bunch fellows.

So what does having a C&R do for you?
It allows you to purchase any firearm that is on the list, or is >= 50 years old, and have it shipped directly to your home without having to go through a dealer. Also, it allows you to get dealer discounts on stuff from Brownell's, Midway, etc. Not a bad deal for $30.

The problem is that what you'll save in cost on individual items, you'll spend on quantity. Welcome to C&R. :D :D :D
